Teaser Tuesdays - Night Child


Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

- Open to a random page

Was she actually complimenting me? I was embroiled in a murder investigation, being stalked by the same demons that I was supposed to be trailing, and now she was giving me a good recommendation?
