Thanks for the lovely words on ARROWS! :D And very interesting on the Dunn book. Do you think the expectations for logic in worldbuilding are different in YA?
That might very well be the case. Now that I think of it, the books that annoyed me with illogical world building are for 90% YA books. (i DNFed Scythe last month because of world building so Forget Tomorrow was at least intriguing enough to finish. Hoping for more explanations in book 2.)
Yeah, me too! I'm sometimes perplexed by the shoddy worldbuilding a few otherwise excellent (and popular) YA books I've read. I think that it's just not important to a majority of those readers.
