Grimspace Giveaway

There's a lot going on at the moment in the writing world and it's focused on SciFi.
I'm not going to recap here, but I can advice you to read up at the blogs of Ann Aguirre and Jess Haines for more info.

What I am going to do is show support by giving away a copy of Grimspace by Ann Aguirre. One of the best SciFi books I ever read.
(If you already have Grimspace and you win, you can also pick one of the other books in the series.)

So if you live somewhere the bookdepository ships to you can enter by:
- leaving a comment telling me what book you really enjoyed reading lately
- leaving a way for me to contact you

I'll pick a winner on the 20th of June

I don't know if a re-read counts ; ] but I just re-read "Pippi Longstocking" again because of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo". I loved it, partly because I remembered 1) how much of an effect it had on me as a girl and 2) why seeing strong and quirky protagonists like her was so damn important in freeing my mind of stereotypes and cliches about who I had to be.

I've been following the whole sci-fi kerffuffle via Ann Aguirre and others, and have nothing but praise for women like her who stand up and are counted. Her articulate blogs made me want to read her books, so I'd love a copy of "Grimspace". I live in SoCal/USA, so hopefully you ship there.

Well, I recently enjoyed reading Branded by Abi Ketner and Missy Kalicicki. It was a very fun and original book and the heroine was so strong in the face of all the things she had to face. It was an excellent, captivating read. Review to come on my blog: http://weaklingno14.blogspot.co.uk

I don't want to enter the contest because I have the whole Sirantha Jax series and I adored every book in it. I just wanted to say that this is a fantastic series and everyone should read it, and any of the other wonderful books Ann Aguirre writes. I've read a lot of great books lately, but my favorite recently was Kevin Hearne's Trapped.

Lol I just read Gini Koch's post about it, and that was enough. Male chauvinism will never go away.
But great giveaway Sullivan!

Well I recently enjoyed Beth Revis's Across the Universe trilogy. And Jeaniene Frost's A Night Prince series is really good. There are just so many great books, authors and series out now it's hard to narrow them all down. Thanks for the giveaway.
