I got something really special to show you:
The cover of The Outside by Laura Bickle!
Below you find the cover, the blurb and the full cover art.
It's going to be an amazing looking book with a really suspenseful and awesome story!
The Outside is the sequel to the amazing The Hallowed Ones, my favorite read of 2012.
After a plague of vampires is unleashed in the world, Katie is kicked out of her Amish community for her refusal to adhere to the new rules of survival. Now in exile, she enters an outside world of unspeakable violence with only her two "English" friends and a horse by her side. Together they seek answers and other survivors—but each sunset brings the threat of vampire attack, and each sunrise the threat of starvation.
And yet through this darkness come the shining ones: luminescent men and women with the power to deflect vampires and survive the night. But can these new people be trusted, and are they even people at all?
In this edge-of-your-seat thriller, it’s up to one Amish girl to save her family, her community, and the boy she loves . . . but what will she be asked to leave behind in return?
This is the complete cover art.
Isn't it gorgeous!

YES! I loved the first book. Can't wait to read this one. The cover is fantastic. She kind of reminds me of the actress Chloe Sevigny? :)
Thanks so much for posting this, Sullivan!
Lee, I'm totally in love with this cover. Shane did an amazing job!
Such amazing artwork - so evocative!
I am incredibly lucky, Marcella! :-D
Oh wow. That is...amazing! It draws me in but kinda spooky, yet not to scary feel from it. I really love it!
Oh it looks fantastic! So gripping and making us curious yet scared to find out what happens :-D Congrats Laura it looks terrific! :-)
OMG thank you so much for sharing this, Sully! Looks awesome, sounds awesome, and I'm dying to read it!!! Can't wait!
Thanks, Melissa! I love the sense of foreboding that Shane created with it.
Thank you, Stella! I feel like the cover really tells a story all on its own.
Aleksandra, thanks! I'm super-excited, too! :-)
O wow, that is kind of scary and spooky and haunting all at once. That man stalking her, the sky. It is amazing, but as I don't do scary, not sure I would pick it up. I do have to read the first book though, that one is on my shelves. If I like it, then this cover doesn't matter and I will buy and read it.
Hi, Aurian! Thanks for giving the first one a shot! I appreciate it. :-)

The cover art is so hauntingly fantastic! =D
This is such a great cover! It is peferct. I cannot wait to read it.
I absolutely LOVED the first one, and can not wait to read the sequel. This was such an unexpected gem because it was new and not the same YA paranormal romance snoozefest that has become so popular!!
I can not wait to read this! The art is amazing, I didn't really think that it could be as good as the first cover, both are so good. Wow. I'm so excited to read this book.
